British museum begins recovery of items taken from it, sold online

The British Museum has started recovering items that were stolen from it and sold online, according to museum chair George Osborne. The museum failed to act on warnings that items from its collection were being sold online. Around 2,000 artifacts went missing, but some have already been recovered. The British Museum, one of the world's most well-known and prestigious museum, was founded in 1753.
