Libyan foreign minister suspended over talks with Israeli counterpart

Libya's Prime Minister, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, has temporarily suspended Foreign Minister Najla al-Mangoush after her Israeli counterpart, Eli Cohen, disclosed talks in Rome. Libya's Foreign Ministry referred to it as a "chance and unofficial encounter," causing street protests in several Libyan cities. The Libyan government has distanced itself from the meeting, claiming Mangoush "refused to meet with any party" representing Israel.
