North Korea vows more offensive response to US 'threats'

North Korea has criticized the recent visit of top US defense officials to South Korea and has vowed to respond with more "offensive" actions to what it perceives as military threats from the United States and its allies. The North Korean defense ministry blamed the United States for raising tensions in the region. The visit by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin resulted in a revised bilateral security agreement between South Korea and the US to address North Korea's nuclear and missile threats.
